I Guess

by

Alex Lawrence

I guess it's my fault that I sit here alone
with no one home
I sit here crying as I'm dying
with no one home
I sit here thinking to myself
with no one home
I sit here thinking I made a big mistake
with no one home
I sit here with blood rushing out of me
with no one home
I lay on the ground with only one eye open
with no one home
I see my dad's face as he falls to the ground beside me
with someone home
I try to tell him I'm sorry but he can't hear me
with someone home
I see him all dressed in black crying

with no one home
