The Earth Has a Cold

Please excuse the Mother
For disruptions going on
But she has come down with the flu
And she isn't very strong
For her children are attacking her
And paving on her skin
And stabbing at her energy
And causing her much pain
And stealing all the blood that flows
Like gemstones through her veins
But when they are exposed to air
They crystallize - don't we?
Does not our blood turn to substance
When it's out where we can see?
We have got to give our Mother
The respect that she deserves
She continues to support us
When its more than we deserve
We have got to change our minds and hearts
And leave alone her blood
And she now gives warning
So take heed
"Take seriously the flood"
