Three Shadows

I will wait for you my Darling
With the patience of the stars
Until the Heaven's can arrange
For the day that will be ours
The moon this early morning
Cast three shadows on the ground
One before and one beside
And one that fell behind
The one that is behind me
Is obviously the past
All the pain and heartache
That you have healed at last
The one that walked beside me
Can only be my Love
The Light that God has sent me
On the wings of a Sweet Dove
And the forward one, our future
When our lives will be entwined
On the wonderful day that's coming
When you'll be forever mine
