Trying For Forever Again

by

Alice C. Bateman

Trying for forever again

It's such a scary feeling, my friend

Afraid to say I love you

In case you walk away

Though I think I really love you

Should have told you so today

Should have told you how I see you

In every face I see

Could have told you that your caring

Means everything to me

Trying for forever, again

Its such a scary feeling, my friend

Don't tell me that you love me yet

I've heard those words before

Just show how much you care for me

It means a great deal more

A natural attraction

An omen if you like

Has brought us both together

Has brought us to the Light

Trying for forever, again

It's such a scary feeling, my friend

We want and need each other

It's plain for all to see

Especially when the things you say

Bring out the red in me.

You make me blush

It's quite a rush!
