Look The Other Way

When its painful, you do it
When you can't stand to see the look on my face
When you have to get through it
When you enter a scary place
You do it when you can't cope
When you get emotional, angry and upset
When you see me cry or shout
And you want to forget
When it hurts all over
When its painful to see because of what you are facing
And no matter what you do
However much pacing
That's when you do it
When I can see you but you can't bear to see me
It's your way of hiding inside
And you do it rather than see
It's what you do
You look the other way
