My Everyday Life
by
Cesar A. Miranda
It’s been a
long day,
Like all the others,
Cold in my bed,
Alone with my thoughts.
Knowing I can’t,
Not even have you,
That you don’t,
Even look at me.
Lying alone,
Only remember,
Your sweet smile,
The way you waved your hair.
Your figure,
Temple of chaos,
Takes away my mind,
Burns my desires.
Sometimes I need you,
In my life,
Alone cold and lonely,
Without you by my side.
Sometimes I need you,
In my life,
Alone cold and lonely,
Without you by my side.
Another day,
Another morning,
In where I wake up,
On a cold and lonely bed.
Knowing by now,
That you are with him,
With the one you love,
The one you respect.
When I had the chance,
I didn’t take it,
You were all mine,
Your love was for me.
I was stupid,
I didn’t take you,
When you were on your knees,
Crying and begging for love.
That was my,
Biggest mistake ever,
I didn’t know,
How important you were.
In my mind,
You were another one,
Who I took,
And threw away.
Sometimes I need you,
In my life,
Alone cold and lonely,
Without you by my side.
Sometimes I need you,
In my life,
Alone cold and lonely,
Without you by my side.
Everybody needs somebody,
Somebody to love,
No one likes to stay,
Out in the rain alone.
Everybody needs somebody,
To share their dreams and thoughts,
But yes along the ride,
Many times you’ll fall.
Everybody needs somebody,
Who will become their true love,
And what I did with mine,
I rejected her love.
I didn’t know,
I didn’t know,
I didn’t know,
I didn’t know.
I didn’t know,
I didn’t know,
I didn’t know,
I didn’t know.
Now I know,
That I was wrong,
Someone else,
Took what I once threw.
Which was your love,
And now it kills me,
For finding out,
Too late you were the one.
Yes I tried,
But is was too late,
You fell in love,
And I had to swallow my pain.
There is no day,
You’re not in my mind,
That I don’t regret,
What I have done to you, and me.
Sometimes I need you,
In my life,
Alone cold and lonely,
Without you by my side.
Sometimes I need you,
In my life,
Alone cold and lonely,
Without you by my side.
Without you by my side,
Without you, by my side.
