When Doubts Get You

by

Cesar A. Miranda

Hatred, pain
Voices inside my mind confusing me,
I run away from them,
But they chase me,
Catch up to me,
Distance kills love,
Makes confusion,
Causes problems,
You screw up,
You think what is not true,
You fall into the game of lies,
And it wins over you.

You hate,
You cry,
You scream,
You kill love with your doubts,
Rains blood,
Rains tears,
Rain screams,
Your heart turns to a stone,
Cold, unmerciful,
You want to hide,
No place to,
You want to fix things,
Too late,
You’re trapped,
Desperate,
Insane.

Being tortured by your own doubts,
By your own fears,
Now knowing what happens,
Not knowing what’s real,
Not anymore.
