All
I Ask
By
Chad
Lilly

God I知 grateful
for everything . . .
God I知 hurting
more than most can see;
God I ask you:
why do I feel so empty?
God I知 screaming
can you hear me now?
God I知 feeling
that you can some how,
and you answer
in response divine: all things
gathered for reasons
perfect in time and needed
to create works more glorious
than anything imagined.
God I知 thankful
for all that you show me,
God I fear
the visions appearing
before my eyes,
God I ask you: can the
grand enigma be understood?
God I知 so frustrated . . .
feeling helpless against
what痴 coming . . . God I pray:
make me useful
for just one day.
