Glory be unto God
creator and sustainer
of the worlds, whose
light is made to shine
over waters
of flowing life below.
Your Spirit
indwelling those
chosen to receive,
those accepting
what so freely is given
unto all who ask . . .
blessed is he who
calls Thy Name
earnestly seeking
to know thy ways,
whose broken heart
beats heavily within
his weary chest
kneeling before his maker
ashamed
aware
loathing the separation
he’s created between
himself and God . . .
willing now to renounce
The Lie
and listen with ears
that hear The Voice
more clearly than his own;
this is the beginning of wisdom.
