My Uncle Lee

by

Charlie Mann

I wish you could meet my Uncle,
My dear sweet Uncle Lee.
He makes me laugh and giggle,
And fills my heart with glee.

He knows just what to say,
When the people he loved were sad.
He also knows what to say,
When the people he loved were mad.

My Uncle Lee is special,
For all the world to see.
He isn't just another man,
He is my Uncle Lee.

He not only is an Uncle,
But a husband and a father.
He cares about his family's happiness,
And loves them like no other.

I loved when he came over,
To my house to stay.
But he cant come over any more,
Cause God took him away.

My Uncle Lee had suffered,
From a long fight with cancer.
But the good lord stopped the suffering,
And taking him was the answer.

I'm going to miss my Uncle Lee,
And all the times we've had.
I'm happy he is without pain,
But his absence makes me sad.

I just hope theirs golf courses,
In heaven for Uncle Lee.
Cause he loved to swing the irons,
And hit things off the tee.

My Uncle Lee was a special man,
A man I will always love.
But I know when I want to talk to him,
I just look to the heavens above.

I love you Uncle Lee.
