Make Room

by

Christine Williams

She used to be dark and deep like the ocean,
Now she's ridden of all her emotion.
I'm sorry that my cuts hurt you too.
But not everything is bright and white;
Make room for the black and blue.

She used to drift and dream like a cloud,
Now she simply isn't allowed.
I'm sorry that the drugs stoned you too.
But not everything's bright and white;
Make room for the black and blue.
