All That I Am
by
Cinnamon Brown

I may not be
a lawyer
But I have defended even my enemies
Who were put on this earth simply to spite me
All that I am
I may not have the title of MD
But I have healed many hearts
With words spoken tenderly
All that I am
I may not be an ordained minister
But I have encouraged the spirits of incarcerated
men
The men that the rest of the world named sinister
All that I am
I may not be a prophet
But I know that I am an artist
My own future I can see
Because I created it, it's my destiny
All that I am it's all in me
