The Hopeless Romantic has left the building
The hopes have lost their minds
Empty shells of substance
Grow deranged with every dye.
Marking your wishes,
Yielding to reversed expectations
I walk away unscathed
But for that which you don't see.
Conjoining, re-emerging, the composition
Morphs; parts of you, parts of me,
Parts us endlessly.
