Her Only Desire
by
Constance

Always lose,
never win.
Her only desire--to give in
She can't take their nagging, their strictness,
their sin,
the only thing left--to give in.
She tries to ignore them every night, hiding and
shaking with fright.
They're drunk, stupid and ready to fight, as
uncontrollable fury fills their sight.
She decides to take the only way out--to fully and
finally give in.
She locks herself in as she finally begins
She can't take anymore, it's time for an end.
Her shaky fingers red with life, and the burden of
her own sins,
carry nothing but the cause of her premature end--a
mere sharp-sided fiend.
Her crimson red life circles the drain, as the
journey to her end begins,
and they are left with nothing to remember, but a
letter signed,
"The End"
