Love's Passion

By

Dave Frazier

'Ere the whispers of a warm summer's breeze,

Softly caressed your cheek,

Have I gently kissed your lips,

And I professed my love for you.

Warmth of the gentle evening comes,

Enwraps me like your gentle hug.

Falls upon me like a veiled mist,

As I reach for your hand in mine.

A coy look, never to betray the passion,

Dwelling within the depths of your breast.

If only to stare deep into mine,

Passion unleashed as our eyes meet.

As one we have become, our sharing,

Hearts passionate embrace does take me.

Our souls entwined in a single stem,

Our love grows upward to Heaven.
