Can I stand alone?
If threatened with imprisonment would I run home?
If questioned by the Inquisitor would I recant?
If given high profile could I still smile?
Against the wind of adversity I would stand.
Against the howls of ridicule I'd remain a man.
Against the disdain of friends I would remain faithful,
to Him who paid for my shame.
Crucify! Crucify! Was the cry of the mob.
I refuse to bow down and for Him to sob.
For by the blood of the Infinite was my mortality sustained.
And by the death of One Invincible will I one day reign.
So I matter not in the scheme of things.
To Him be the Glory all the Angels shall sing.
