Rewind Your Smiles

by

Dena Larson

Climb inside a memory and smile once again…
The good times must be remembered to help us through the bad.
Swing on your old tire swing, and play around in the grass.
Listen to the laughter of all the times gone past.
Realize tomorrow may taste just as sweet.
Never forget to grow from the times that you are weak.
Rewind until you find it… the memory you loved the most,
And then hold on tight and never let it go.
Promise yourself for always…
Promise you won't give up.
Promise you'll have more of those memories
The ones you love so very much.
