ones who lose to love
Love drives down many streets,
Hits many corners, and makes many frequent turns
Love asks can you keep up
Love asks can you stay on the same highway as I.
Love questions your ability to drive at all
Love sometimes asks the question why
Love will tell you it is good, when it's bad
Love makes you happy when you are really sad
Love has feelings that always outweigh yours
Love says jump, and you reach for the stars
But love can't change who you are inside
It can alter your feelings, yes indeed
But if you confront love head on
Love believe me will back down in defeat
Now you become love, and love becomes obsolete
Love floods the mind, leaks into the soul
You must be stronger than love
You now have the control, now love must compete
