A Choice
by
Durlabh Singh

In bliss of nothingness
I had a choice to make
Either to loose my being
Like a mawkish dream
In red and white smoke
For the fingers of an abductor
Unable to point to the culprit.
Escaping nausea of imagination
A reverie installed in shielded eyes
Where the broken arms of vision
Will not clutch the raging storms.
Take care of the winds
Lest these get lost
In eddies of the mangroves
Where stripped tigers roam
With shiny eyes in stark contrast
And an unknown country beckons
Beyond limited exile of the known.
