If in raptures wild
I could see that celestial grace
For which I have been cherishing
In all the breaths of my life
And remained in anguish
Long suppressed and fatigued
And impetuous with emotions
I wished I could see
Yet not a moment came
When I had in my vision
That celestial light
Those raptures wild!
