The Soul of Man

by

Ehsan Elahi Ehsan

The Soul of Man
The soul of man is a garden
Where ever-fresh flowers
Of rich variety remain fragrant
Blooming all the time
And fascinating him
With the delicate pleasures
Of his spiritual existence
In this garden
The distance of time and space
Is non-existent
And the whole life
From beginning to the end
Becomes so vibrant
That the slightest stir
Of feelings and thoughts
Leaves a deep impact on it
Human heart begins to throb
With pain and sorrows,
Joys and happiness
Combined together.
The inward eye begins to see
Heights hither to unknown.
