The sounds of Love and Fear
Co-mingle in life and create
A track with roses on one side
And the thorns on the other
Your careful steps are needed
To tread this path alone.
The voices on the way
The voices sad and joyous
Can give your life a boon
And tell you something sacred
Which makes you happy and sad
And often when you are clad
With checkered robe
You find yourself glad
That you have been bestowed
With such a variety of life
Where tear go with smiles
Where stories heard and told
Bind you with other human beings.
