My Mother
by
Elizabeth Jones
Tribute: Dorothy Ann Baldwin
To the world she's a woman trying to make it by.
A woman who rather never speak then tell her kids a lie.
To the world she's a woman who works to pay bills.
A woman her keeps working even if she is ill.
To the world she's a woman who puts herself last.
A woman who keeps looking into the future &never at the past.
To the world she's a woman with on her own.
A woman who comforts her children in the kindest tone.
To the world she's another zero.
But To her children, she is their hero.
In the eyes of her kids, she's their world.
This woman is the greatest of them all.
When you are in trouble she is always on call.
She is the strongest woman I will ever know.
A woman who picks you up when you are low.
To the world she's just a great mother.
A woman who I wouldn't trade for another.
She is the greatest of them all, My Mother.
