Elizabeth M. Hauptmann

A tiny teardrop leaves my face,
And splatters on the floor,
And when I start to think of you,
I start to cry some more.

I'm sifting through some pictures,
We took some years ago,
And with these precious memories,
my tears begin to flow.

Time is slowly passing,
Days just never end,
I'm staring at your tombstone,
Hoping I will mend.

I will move on,
But think of you,
And I hope you know,
I'll still love you.
