I want to tell you how I feel
but I don't know what to say
I never tried to say I want you
but I'm gonna try today,
I know you think I'm alright
but you like him more than I
but if you choose him over me
you'll be asking yourself why,
I'm tryin' hard to make you see
that I'm the one you should want
and if you're still not sure
I'm not gonna take affront,
'Cause I hope one day you'll love me
if you don't want me today
'cause if you're ready for me right now
a yes is all you have to say.
