Time

by

Frank Williams

If its the last time we ever meet,
I don't think my life will ever be complete,
My life will change the day you say goodbye,
No one in this world can take your place, so I'll never try.

But if its the last time we ever embrace,
And the last time I see your face,
I wanna hold you in my arms a little longer than before,
And stare into your eyes, even if it makes me want you more.

I think its the last time we're gonna kiss,
And the touch of your lips I'll always miss,
I'll try to make this final kiss special, since tomorrow will never come,
The feelings I have are for no one else but you, you're the only one.

I guess its the last time we'll ever dance,
And our final chance to share romance,
Let's not hold back, let all of our feelings show,
And if you've got to tell me something, please just let me know.

So its the last time I'll ever say I love you,
And please know what I say is true,
But if its really the last time that for us was meant,
You've got to know my time with you was well spent.
