Daddy's Love

by

Helen Garvey

My daddy is always with me

Even when we are apart

I know because he told me

He'll be forever in my heart

In his arms I find a reason

To feel so safe & sound

Wherever we go, whatever we do

I'm happy while he's around

It took nine months for me to grow

And take my place on this earth

But I will never forget the first face I saw

Shining with love for all he was worth

He is my favorite playmate

And my bestest bestest friend

Daddy I can't wait until I can talk

Then all my love I can send

But now I'm only very little

I have no words I can say

So I whispered to mummy

"Daddy I love you more every day"
