A Message to the Lonely

by

Jack Mann

I don’t have much money
And I never will be rich
But with all my friends and family
I really shouldn’t bitch

Where Love abounds
True riches flow
One never should be poor
When love is given freely
You only get back more

Loneliness is usually
The result of selfish gain
You only get back what you give
Even if it’s pain

People that give their time
And love to those in need
Will never be alone themselves
Because they planted the seed

A kind word here, a good deed there
Will make the blessings flow
And loneliness upon this earth
You will never know

So if you find yourself alone
And saddened by your plight
You may find the cause is yours alone
Change your ways and don’t give up the fight!
