I Will Never Walk Alone

by

Jack Mann

I will never walk alone

As long as your by my side

It seems you are always with me

No matter where I hide

But fear and pain still grip me

And why I do not know

Because you are always with me

Anywhere I go

You are not much company

Never talk or weep

And when I am with you

It’s like you are asleep

I hope someday to leave you

In the darkness of the night

And all the fear and weeping

You have brought to me with fright

For you are very evil

The fall of all mankind

The barer of big burdens

That race on through my mind

For you are loneliness!
