Seasons

by

Janice Engle

As October starts to settle in
the cold dark nights will bring
another fall with autumn breeze
and copper colored golden leaves
the air is cold the winds are high
grey and white clouds fill the sky
little squirrels scamper around
putting acorns in the ground
we live each season to the end
each one at a time
with spring and summer
then with fall
winter follows last of all
