Still
by
Johanna Albee
I wish for more than to smell faint traces of you
I want to fill my lungs with your vanilla essence
Holding it in until it consumes me
I want more than just a kiss
To trace the outline of your silky lips
Slowly until my last breathe escapes me
I need more than to feel you
Velvet skin melting into me
Sensation resonating in memory
I crave more than making love to you
Joining souls enveloped in ecstasy’s white flames
Rains of our passion covering our tangled mesh
I feel more than missing you
The painful ache of loneliness courses through me
Deep longing for the sound of your voice filling my ears
My body the monogamous slave to your wishes
My mind filled with memories
My heart your captive
My soul a reflection of you
Still...
