Without You

by

Jolanta Gradowicz

There wouldn’t be any spring,
Happy days and anything true.
There would obviously be nothing
In the world without you.

Sometimes I close my eyes
To see myself without you.
I could look for some lies
To conceal my immense and true

Sorrow, pain and despair,
And the sharp prick in my heart.
I must feel you everywhere.
We mustn’t be a long way apart.

This world would lose its meaning,
And joy, and clarity. I always knew:
There would obviously be nothing
In the world without you.
