Alone

by

Jonathan Isenor

I go to my bedroom alone at night
You wouldn’t even know I had parents
I’m too busy they think
When I really do nothing

I miss when I was young
Why did I have to grow up?
All I ask is a little attention
Please don’t yell

Some days I wonder if you see me
Am I a ghost?
I leave my past behind and wish it all away
Hopefully it won’t come back another day
