First let me say I agree with you completely, and you should send this article to as many newspapers as you can. But please break it down into paragraphs. It reads as though it were one sentence from beginning to end.

It might also help to understate a little - you are on the edge of hysteria in an excerpt like this, >>But I am sickened to the point where no words, whether spoken or written, could ever, in an eternity, possibly even begin to express or convey how wrong and awful these injustices are.<< Newspapers don't like this kind of thing.

You say you're an agnostic, then why say >>cannot simply reason in his mind why, on god's great earth, would anyone choose to be gay.<< Consistency pays in the long run.

The first time I downloaded this article, there were no paragraph separations. The second time, there were. So, pardon the comment.

I'll probably regret this post, but personally, I feel comparing gay rights to the civil rights movement of the 50's and 60's is a little like comparing apples to oranges. If you choose to be an advocate for this group, then you are certainly, at least in America free to do so, but be careful, you've made a few blatant mistakes in your post and those with far more experience and less reserve than I could tear it apart.
