Welcome to the Writer's Voice. I enjoyed reading your poem, and agree....finding yourself is difficult...even harder is finding your own writing voice. The struggle you expressed in words is also seen in the poem's structure...you switch back and forth between rhyme, slant rhyme, and open verse. Iím not sure if that is intentional, but it was clever and it worked!
I could explicate each verse, but in doing so, I might add to your inner questioning...let me assure you, I feel you have tapped into a poetic vein that will not only "inspire" others, but "will [be] unique and introduce/The world to something great"
I look forward to reading more of your work.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
