CANDLE'S FLAME
All Alone in a silent corner
T'was a cold and gloomy night
The heavens were but blankets
of ebony
A little candle was my only light
Flaming slowly the candle was
Like tears flowing from the nymph's
eyes
Glowing like a golden star
through the velvet sky
A little candle was my only light
I felt the candle's warmth
T'was a mother's touch so warm and true
To the candle's flame
I gaze
And wait 'till it disappears
into the cold and gloomy night
How strong the tiny flame was
like weeds in a windy day
Snapping it does not
But bows down with grace
Still alone in a silent corner
together with my candle
I was
Staring at it gently
The beauty of the candle's flame
That's it.. my masterpiece... hope you like it...
