"I don’t know what to say"

by

Maria Reylan Garcia

Those times when I was down and lonely,

You were there to make me feel happy,

Those times when my heart is aching,

You let it pump and continue beating,

Those times when I was lost and forgotten,

You helped me stood up and be enlightened,

I don’t know what to say to you,

For keeping my life not blue,

I don’t know what to say to you,

For supporting me in everything I do,

My thank you is not enough to pay,

For all the goodness you’ve shown to me day by day,

Even though at times, when I ignored your concern for me,

Yet you still became patient, patient as you can be,

Even though at times, I did not listened to your advices,

You’ve still been very considerate and your anger disguises,

Somewhat I’ve realized what I’ve done was wrong and not right,

Abusing your kindness and generosity with all my might,

I don’t know what to say to you,

For keeping my life not blue,

I don’t know what to say to you,

For supporting me in everything I do,

My thank you is not enough to pay,

For all the goodness you’ve shown to me day by day,

Even though, how many words I had made,

In my mind they all had fade,

Because I don’t know what to say,

To a person who has been very kind to me day by day,

My thank you is not enough to pay,

All I can do for you, is to include you in my prayers as I pray...

( for you to be safe... and continue to be my loving and caring friend forever..)
