God bless the day that I found you
you turned my life around you made it anew
I thought different about my life
not too much pain, not too much strife
someone to talk to, to share times with
talking to you was like catching an awaited breath
you made my life easier to push along through
I learned the meaning of a friend that was true
a smile that would brighten the darkest of days
eyes that would chase every cloud away
a heart which could make angels sing
a mind that made the bells of heaven ring
hands which made my world go round
feeling compared only to a heavenly sound
you must have been a gift from the heavens above
you belong in my heart surrounded by love
you're something special and I know it is true
God spent a lot of time in the creation of you.
