You keep saving my life
In the most gentle way
Your tears flow so easily
When you ask me to stay.
I keep running towards darkness
And you keep bringing me back
When I have no more expectations
You provide what I lack.
When I look at you I see beauty
In its most perfect form
When you hold me I am secure
With you I have been reborn.
You have found my pain...touched it
And at times it frightens me to death
That when I lay dying from it
You revive me with your breath.
And so, I give thanks for this love
That has kept me alive and secure
And for your determination
To keep the darkness outside our door.
I love you,
