I sit and wonder

by

Michael Faircloth

Here I sit and wonder
About a world far away
I smile as I ponder
Creating this place where I can play

Life without rules
People who only know how to love
Blue water by white sand, it is all so cool
Trees close by, filled with doves

Always, fresh food and drink
Never a day with bad weather
Everyone in my world will think
There is no place that is better

Here we will loose all our troubles
Only smiles will our faces wear
As we stand in the sand blowing bubbles
Completely free of fear

Here I still sit and smile
As I gaze at my fantasy friends
Such a perfect world, they have for a while
As long as my fantasy does not end

The friends that fill my dream
All have something that they share
They are the people I have seen
That knew me and cared
