Every tap on the keys
every deep unconcern
your poems unwritten
the essays all thrown away, the pens
showing out of the pocket,
the words, sometimes of prey, sometimes
the most vicious you are
the most, for that you are turning worlds into story
written-unwritten, twined-untwined
saved for three million readers
after three million years it
will be feeding someone. Save me
in the left pocket of your shirt, I
will hold tight your pencil. We are close.
Very close.
As a fetishist and a nun.
