There is an ocean between us
For which I can never cross
Uncharted territory lay ahead of me
Which I am too scared to explore
Still my love for you is very strong
That I'll go through any boundary
Cross any dangerous ground
Just to be with you
You were the light of my life
You were my guiding star
I always felt safe
Knowing you and I were not far apart
My heart melted every time you were near
My spirits soared when I heard your voice
Everything was so magical
Just because you were near me
As I look out my window on a clear night
I can see your face in the stars
Even when the sky is cloudy
You will always shine through
