Let the Light Through the Window

by

Neil Bridgens

Let the light through the window
let it shine down on you,
let it carry peace and happiness
may your love always be true.

Let it dance upon your forehead
let it tingle down your spine,
let it carry joy and tenderness
the love you have is mine.

Let the light through the window
let it's warmth enfold the place,
let it carry all the riches
which do shine upon your face.

Let the clouds not be obtrusive
let the wind be still today,
let the sun be warm and caring
on the sweet things you say.

Let the light through the window
let it's kiss be but a touch,
let's remember what's transpired
what's still to shine on us.

Let the past be but a memory
let that memory fade with time,
let tomorrow have the answers
and let them all turn out fine.
