Love Breaks Barriers

by

Nicole Higginbotham

Beautiful girl
next to my side
I'd try to wake up
my tears shall I had
for this is the greatest
feeling yet felt
a love without warning
my heart stuck to melt
and your arm on my waist
as I soundly dream
of your precious lips
coaxing me
and your breath on my neck
and whispered thoughts
my heart without warning
was quickly bought
and the air in between us
of touch and no go
uncontrolled urges
that come and go
and your hand in mine
or my head on your chest
I keep you safe
but you're really the rest
that I need
when the world seems to much
I forget all
with just a flick of your touch
and we both have problems
but teamwork will heal
in this love
and this craziness
that seems so unreal
