How dare you scorn my tears!
How dare you make light of my pain!
You call my tears a weakness.
How dare you!
My tears are honesty and truth.
They show how much I care.
Where are your tears?
Do you hurt? Do you care?
I reach out to you with pain in my soul,
and yes, tears in my eyes.
No dear, they are not my weakness.
My tears are of sadness and longing.
My tears are of anger and pain.
My tears are sweet release.
They cleanse my soul.
Listen to me...my tears are of love.
See me my love, see me weep.
These tears are not my weakness.
These precious tears I shed for you.
Shed them I would not, if I did not care.
Shed them I would not, if I did not love you.
