Difficulties

by

Sara Rarick

It wasn't easy for you.
But it wasn't no picnic for me either.
Now confusion is all that's left in my mind.
Depressing not knowing why.
Fears that escape when I see your smile.
Why is your face morbid to me.
It used to bring such happiness...
Now you're a disease I can't stand to deny.
Look, we're talking again.
Like we never loved each other.
Like we never hurt each other.
Like we never said goodbye...
Right where we started.
And it's not easy for me or for you,
it's not easy.
