Escape

What must they be thinking
when they act the way they do
and cause so much destruction
without even a clue
of who they are affecting
the lives that will be changed
the children with no parents
the men who were engaged
They'll say they had their reasons
it needed to be done
spare me the excuses
you'll need them when you're gone
If only you could feel
the pain that's being felt
so, did you prove your point?
are you pleased with the results?
Well, now you must consider
exactly what you've done
this, will not go unanswered
there is nowhere to run
But if you kept on running
until the day you died
that day you will be punished
for all those who have cried.
