My emotions are hittingí hard like thunder.
My knocks are coming down hard like rain at your door.
My tears are dropping to the concrete like drizzle into a puddle,
Because Iím afraid you donít love me anymore.

My cries are like a new born baby at birth.
My expressions are as loud as their screams.
My heart has been split like an umbilical cord,
Because I just figured that your love wasnít like it seemed.

My complaints are like a dogsí whimpers when heís waiting to be fed.
My knees are shaking like their tails wag when they plead.
Iím all burnt out like a dog whose just came in after a walk,
Because Iíve been looking around only to realize youíre the one I need.
