Her Shades of Grey...

The rush of life full of shades of grey,
turns from black to white every day.
Confusion, disappointment and dismay,
Leaves her saddened from the game that he plays.
The rush of adrenaline like the waters so deep.
Makes her breathless, and often she weeps.
She cries for the ease of the life she once knew,
and the brightness of color that she sees so few.
Satisfaction, contentment and pleasure she seeks.
Through the strong rush of choppy waters she is meek.
In a colorless world filled with shades of grey,
She waits patiently for him to beg her to stay.
