Overthrow

by

Troy Luedke

I had put it away for the very last time
Got back on track and I had cleared my mind

Started a new life without all the hell
Nothing's gonna break me, won't buy what you sell

Go ahead and try it but you won't succeed
Can't tear me down, are you listening to me

Yet somehow you got me to fall down on my knees
My power over you was just too weak

Now I sit alone, the demons returned
What's it gonna take, will I ever really learn

Have to find a way to settle the score
I just can't go on living like this any more

Time has passed by, another scar in my side
Last time you'll ever see me swallow my pride

I've locked up the doors, ain't letting you in
I'll never travel down your road ever again
